Our guides really bring the fort alive for our visitors and are ideal for those who appreciate the additional information, insight and anecdotes a guided tour offers. See the Guided tours page for more details.
There's a free multi-media Tour Guide you can download to your smartphone or tablet if you don't intend to arrange a guided tour. You'll then be able to use the Tour Guide during your visit to learn more about the fort and its exhibits as you explore at your own pace. Use the QR code or click here to start the download.
Dogs (on leads please) are welcome in all areas of the fort apart from the shop and tea room.
