Opening Times and Ticket Prices

2024 Opening Times

January - closed

February - open 17th to 25th (half-term week), otherwise closed

March 1st to 27th - closed

March 28th until November 3rd - open Thursday to Sunday during term time and every day during the school holidays - from 10:00 to 17:00 with last admission at 15:00.

November 4th onwards - closed

December - Open for Christmas events - details to follow nearer the time, otherwise closed

Ghost Tours - take place on Thursday evening for pre-booked visitors only. Don't book tickets for Ghost Tours here, but see the Guided tours page for more details.

Fort Ticket prices

Adults - £7.50

Concessions (over 65's and students with relevant ID) - £6.80

Children (5-17 years) - £4.50

Children (under 5 years) - free

Carers (assisting companions of disabled members or visitors) - free

Tickets can either be booked in advance or purchased on arrival

English Heritage, CADW, Historic Scotland and Manx National Heritage members with valid membership card - free (unless 'special event' pricing applies)

Please note: prices may be different for special events, and for some special events, English Heritage adult members will be charged £3.50 admission

Landguard Fort and Felixstowe Museum Joint Ticket prices

These tickets can only be purchased at the ticket offices of either the fort or museum and allow the holder to visit both Landguard Fort and Felixstowe Museum for less than the price of two single tickets and can be used anytime during the 2024 season.

Adults - £11.00

Concession - £10.00

Children - £5.00

Dogs welcome

Dogs (on leads please) are welcome in all areas of the fort apart from the shop and tea room.
