Love and support the fort

 

fort logo white backgroundLandguard fort is run by the Landguard Fort Trust, a registered charity dedicated to sharing an important historic monument with the public.

The Trust's objectives are to advance the education of the public about:


1. The role of Landguard fort as a building of great historical and educational interest in the defence of the realm

2. The ways in which the inhabitants of Landguard fort lived their daily lives.

The fort is a Grade I listed building and the site is a scheduled ancient monument.

As you can imagine, running and maintaining a building of this size is no small task or cheap!

By arrangement with English Heritage, the Trust look after all aspects of conservation, maintenance and open our historic monument to the public.

We rely on donations no matter how small.

All donations help us to keep the fort maintained and open for the public to enjoy.
