Looking for a gift or souvenir of your visit?

Our Gift Shop is the perfect place to stop, with something for all ages. Choose from a wide selection of Landguard Fort branded merchandise including our popular jute tote bag, baseball cap, tea towel and teddy bears.

We stock British Fossils gem stones, novelty items from the classic Dad's Army TV series along with nostalgic memorabilia from the 1940's. For the military enthusiast our range of inert ammunition and custom made scaled models is a top favourite.

If you like reading about history as much as we do, you'll enjoy browsing through our comprehensive range of books covering relevant subjects and eras depicted at the fort, suiting all different levels of interest. Be sure to pick up a copy of our two best sellers, 'Things that go bump in the fort', a chilling tales of the ghosts at Landguard, and our detailed English Heritage guidebook, packed full of in-depth fort facts and photographs to enhance your visit. 

Next door is our 1940's themed Tea Room where you can relax and enjoy light refreshments, including hot and cold drinks, chocolate bars, crisps, sweets and ice creams. A visitor favourite is our delicious deluxe hot chocolate special.

For less inclement days, we have an additional cosy indoor space for groups and families accessible on the ground level where you can also take in an absorbing film about the fort and its fascinating history. There are plenty of benches located around the fort to take a break and covered picnic benches in the inner parade area.

Dogs (on leads please) are welcome in all areas of the fort apart from the Gift Shop and Tea Room and a water bowl is available for their refreshment.
