Landguard Fort's stones and stories will come alive in this re-imagining of East Anglia's past. Love stories, war stories, ghost stories and more are woven together by The Heritage Arts Company to create a frighteningly vivid tale of Suffolk's connection with the military. Who is right when right is outranked? Can a uniform make a man into a master? This nation-wide company employs local actors, film-makers, designers, musicians and artists to devise and create this entirely original, hugely energetic show inside one of Suffolk's finest Heritage sites.
Suffolk Coastal District Council are calling the Fort the new "arts hub for the town", and promise that 'Where Soldiers Sleep' will be "an extraordinary experience, showcasing some great home grown talent and set in the atmospheric and slightly eerie Landguard Fort... An evening not to be missed." Book tickets from the New Wolsey Theatre, Bury St Edmunds Theatre Royal, or at a Tourist Information Centre in Woodbridge, Felixstowe, and Aldeburgh.
