The Landguard Volunteers

The Landguard Volunteers are the mainstay for the running of the Fort. Without them Landguard would not function! The Volunteers carry out a wide range of duties including selling tickets, working in the shop, helping keep the undergrowth down, external painting, cleaning jobs, historical research, promotion, setting up displays, looking after the visitors, guided tours and policing the Fort when it’s open.

Are you bored at home, nothing to do? Enjoy meeting people? Why not become a Landguard Volunteer and help us run this historic monument with over 400 years of history. Interested - phone 07749 695 523 or email operations@landguard.com
