An audio tour is available to all visitors and is included in the admission price. A loop and amplifiers are available for the hard of hearing; a paper guide will be provided free of charge if this is not suitable. Please allow approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes to complete the audio tour. We regret that, at present, all guides to the fort are available in English only.
Group Visits
Landguard Fort welcomes groups large and small. If you wish to arrange a visit please contact the fort on 07749 695 523 or email us with your details and we will contact you to arrange your visit.
Outside Tours
Outside tours normally every Sunday at 1130hrs weather permitting.(Limited to 12 persons).
The charge will be £5-00 per person which includes entry to the fort. (no concessions) All tours are subject to cancellation in cases of extreme weather conditions or circumstances beyond the control of Landguard Fort Trust. The Trust also reserves the right to refuse admission, no children are allowed and suitable footwear is required.
The Fort will be open for seven days each week during the 2010 season.
